Ubisoft is one of at least three companies in talks with Microsoft to acquire Arkane Lyon, the studio behind Dishonored and Marvel's Blade, according to Jason Schreier (Bloomberg), as relayed by GamesIndustry.biz, Eurogamer and Gamekult.

  • The terms of the offers are not known, and Xbox has not reached an agreement with any buyer.
  • Xbox also reportedly considered selling the studio to its management, as it did with Double Fine and Compulsion Games.
  • The consultation period was extended from November to December.

An Xbox spokesperson said the company "is exploring options ahead of a December deadline" and declined further comment. Neither Xbox nor Ubisoft has confirmed these talks.
