Shadow of the Road delayed to Wednesday, March 10, 2027

Another Angle Games' tactical RPG, published by Owlcat Games, will no longer launch on November 12 as planned: the team has pushed it back to Wednesday, March 10, 2027 on PC. It wants more time to fine-tune the balance of its turn-based fights and party progression. The game is set in an 1868 Japan where yokai meet steampunk machines (game page).

Modern Warfare 4: DMZ opens on October 20

If you pre-ordered Modern Warfare 4 digitally, you can play DMZ, the game's extraction mode, from Tuesday, October 20, three days before the Friday, October 23 launch, Xbox Wire announced. Campaign early access still starts on Friday, October 16. Between matches, a 3D printer at your base turns the materials you bring back from the field into gear. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds starts its second year on November 3

Year Two of SEGA's racer begins on Tuesday, November 3 with a one-on-one Duel Mode and Bayonetta as a free unlockable racer. The Godzilla Pack, the first of six paid packs in Season Pass Two, launches the same day. Evangelion follows in January 2027, then Sanrio, SEGALAND, Midgar (working title) and Persona, the last one in Q4 2027. Two free additions are also planned: a McLaren driven by Sonic later in November, and Aigis in early 2027.

Valor Mortis launches Tuesday, with New Game+ due before year's end

One More Level has confirmed that its first-person soulslike launches on Tuesday, October 13 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. A New Game+ mode is planned for later this year, letting you replay the campaign with your progression and gear against tougher enemies. The studio also hopes to add full French voice acting, which it could not finish in time (game page).

Rainbow Six Mobile will shut down on January 15, 2027

Ubisoft is ending Rainbow Six Mobile, which launched worldwide in February 2026, according to the development team's message reported by VGC. The next season still ships as planned.

Machinarium 2 announced, 17 years after the original

Amanita Design is making a sequel to its 2009 adventure game: Josef and Berta find a hidden valley where two robot tribes are running out of power, and you switch between them to solve its puzzles. The Steam page is live, with no release date yet.

Planet Zoo 2 launches Tuesday at 3 PM BST on Steam

Frontier has set the Steam launch of Planet Zoo 2 for Tuesday, October 13 at 3 PM BST, with pre-load from the same time the day before for those who pre-purchased. Launch times on PS5 and Xbox Series have not been announced yet.
