Rebel Wolves is readying a big update for The Blood of Dawnwalker, Coral Island heads to Switch 2 this winter and Pokémon TCG Pocket is slowing down its expansions: here's what mattered yesterday.
The Blood of Dawnwalker's Update 1.1 lands next week
Rebel Wolves' vampire RPG, out on PS5, Xbox Series and PC, gets Update 1.1 next week with more than 1,000 fixes and improvements, according to IGN and GameSpot. A new draught lets you reset all your skill points and try a different build without starting over. Players struggling with directional combat get an even more forgiving difficulty mode, and subtitles can be shown in a larger font. That same directional system can now be used to pet dogs and cats. The Japanese version also gets its previously censored blood back.
Coral Island comes to Switch 2 this winter
Stairway Games' farming sim, already available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, launches on Switch 2 this winter alongside its 1.4 "Kids Grow Up" update. With it, your children grow up through four stages, from baby to teenager. As they get older, they pick up hobbies (music, sports, baking, gaming) that shape their personalities, and the other kids of Starlet Town become teenagers too. The exact date will be announced closer to launch.
Pokémon TCG Pocket will space out its expansions
Starting with its next series, Series C, Pokémon TCG Pocket moves from a new expansion roughly every four weeks to one every six weeks or so, the game's team said in a letter covered by Kotaku and Polygon. The team admits the sheer number of cards in each set had made collecting hard to keep up with. Immersive cards, the animated illustrations so far left to pack luck, can also be earned by completing collections and missions. Special Packs, opened with their own stamina that refills weekly, are on the way too, starting with one featuring all 27 starter Pokémon. For deck building, you'll be able to copy community decks in-game, use rental decks without limits and try Limited Battles, which restrict the card pool.

Name reservations then open on October 27.
Analogue brings back the Super Nt and Mega Sg
Analogue is re-releasing its two retro consoles as the Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+, which play original Super Nintendo and Super Famicom cartridges on one side, Genesis and Mega Drive on the other. Like the originals, they recreate the hardware with an FPGA chip rather than emulation, and output 1080p over HDMI. Wireless controllers now connect over Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz, and you can swap cartridges without powering down. Pre-orders open on Monday, October 19 at 8 AM PDT on Analogue's site at $219.99 each, with shipping in December.

Next up: Chinese voice-over narration and the Japanese version on consoles.
Lightyear Frontier cuts down on deliveries for 1.0
The mech-driven farming game hits version 1.0 on Wednesday, November 4. Finishing the adventure will take fewer deliveries to the Colonies, and you'll send them from the main screen rather than each planet's view. Automation also unlocks much earlier than before. Two new milestones bring recipes, mods and a new mech set, backed by main missions that run all the way to the ending.
