Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold pre-orders: editions, bonuses and early access
Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold pre-orders are open: four editions, shared bonuses and early access from February 19, ahead of the February 23 launch.
Since Wednesday, November 4, 2026, you can pre-order Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold, the sixth expansion for Square Enix's MMO. It launches on Tuesday, February 23, 2027, with early access from Friday, February 19 at 9am GMT for players who pre-order. Originally due in January, it was pushed back a month in late October.
Platforms
Evercold is coming to PC (Windows, plus Steam for Steam accounts), Mac, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2. As with every expansion, a subscription is required to play.
The four editions
- Standard Edition ($44.99 in the US): the expansion. Registering it also grants access to the two previous ones, Endwalker and Dawntrail.
- Digital Collector's Edition ($64.99): the expansion plus three in-game items, the Valhallar Odin mount, the Entreat Crystal emote and the Crystal Skyltborg weapon for the new Bastion job.
- Collector's Box ($255): physical goods only, no game: a special art box, a Reaper figure, an Ethos metal keychain, a Köttr mini plush and a Tapestry of the Fourth.
- Collector's Bundle ($319.99): the Collector's Box and the Digital Collector's Edition together, sold only on the Square Enix Store and only for Windows or Mac. On PlayStation, Xbox, Switch 2 or Steam, you need to buy the Collector's Box and the Digital Collector's Edition separately.
Digital Collector's Edition items arrive by moogle letter once early access begins. Prices above come from Square Enix's North American store; your platform's store shows local pricing.
Pre-order bonuses
Every edition that includes the game comes with the same bonuses when you pre-order:
- the Wind-up Köttr minion;
- Halone's Earring;
- early access from February 19.
What we know about the content
Evercold opens a new saga, with a new city and two jobs. The first, the Bastion, is a tank revealed in July. The second, the Zephyr, a physical ranged DPS, was unveiled at the Tokyo Fan Festival in late October, according to Inven Global.
Still to be confirmed
- European prices for each edition on official stores;
- the full list of system changes coming with the expansion.
