Tekken 8: Roger Jr. arrives on November 11

The boxing kangaroo, who fights with a joey in its pouch, joins Tekken 8 on Wednesday, November 11 for Season 3 Character Pass owners, then on Monday, November 16 for everyone. Bandai Namco set those dates in the gameplay trailer shown during Evo France, as reported by IGN and Gematsu. The video closes on Yujiro Hanma, the villain of the Baki manga and the season's final fighter, who still has no date. His next trailer is due on Sunday, January 17, 2027, during the Tekken World Tour Finals.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls reveals its Year 1 fighters

After Phoenix Cyclops, due on Monday, November 2, three more characters join Arc System Works' fighting game in 2027: Thor (Jane Foster) in winter, Venom in spring alongside a stage set on Klyntar, the symbiote homeworld, and Jubilee in summer. The studio laid out the plan on Sunday around Evo France, Eurogamer notes. All of them belong to the Year One Characters & Stage Pass, though each can also be bought on its own. The game launched in August on PS5 and PC.

EA is working on a Wing Commander 3 remaster

EA producer Jim Vessella unveiled an anniversary edition of Wing Commander 3: Heart of the Tiger on Saturday at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, according to PC Gamer and Kotaku. He found more than 600 original source tapes of the 1994 game's full-motion video, starring Mark Hamill, in EA's archives, and this edition will offer those scenes both as shot and upscaled. The game is also said to run at 60 frames per second. EA has not made an official announcement yet, and there is no confirmed date or platform list.
